QA50

The Honda QA50

was built for sale from 1970 to 1975. It was similar to the Z50 in size, but the wheels were "fatter." The K0 model was made from 1970-72. It came in three colors: Gypsy Yellow, Sprout Green, and Scarlet Red. The fuel tank was surrounded by a black rubber molding. The fenders had no stripes and were colored the same as the fuel tank. The front forks and frame were a dark gray. The handlebars had a swivel lock. The engine was a single cylinder OHV displacing 49cc. The Transmission was a 2-speed with an automatic clutch. The serial number began QA50-1000001.
QA50K1

The Honda QA50K1

was built for sale for 1973. It came in only two colors: Hawaiian Blue Metallic and Candy Ruby Red. The fuel tank was surrounded by a chrome molding. The fenders were white with a blue or red stripe to match the main color. The front forks were silver and the frame was black. The handlebars were changed from a swivel lock to stationary bars. The engine was a single cylinder OHV displacing 49cc. The Transmission was a 2-speed with an automatic clutch. The serial number began QA50-2000001.
